The Coverage Gap

Why Your Building Has No Signal

No Nearby Tower Coverage

Industrial estates in growth corridors regularly outrun MNO infrastructure build-out. The nearest Telstra, Optus or Vodafone tower might be kilometres away, with nothing inside the new precinct yet.

Buildings That Kill Signal

Steel cladding, concrete tilt panels, insulated cool rooms and rack systems act as a shield to the signal. Even if there is some signal outside, almost none of it makes it to where your team is actually working.

Operations Struggling

Scanners dropping out mid-pick. Safety alerts not landing on supervisor phones. Forklift drivers having to walk to the office to make a call. Productivity, safety and morale all start to slip.

Large CAPEX for Permanent Solutions

Traditional in building repeater systems can run from $15,000 to over $50,000 once design, hardware, trades and roof access are factored in. Without approved CAPEX this may be difficult to deliver.

That's the gap QWIK-CEL fills. A proper Cel-Fi system, hired weekly, deployed in hours, removed or relocated when your situation changes.

The Solution

Powered by cel-fi, Without the Permanent Install

QWIK-CEL uses the same carrier approved Cel-Fi hardware that goes into permanent in-building deployments. The difference is the design of the solution. Portable tripods, Specialised antennas, engineered cabling and weekly hire rates. Better RF performance, none of the lock-in.

01

Up and Running in Hours

One site visit. Tripods up, cables run, repeater commissioned, signal tested. Your connectivity is improved by end of day.

02

Opex, Not Capex

Weekly hire that goes on the operations budget instead of capital investment. From $51/week on long-term agreements.

03

Move It When You Need To

Coverage priorities change. So does the kit. Relocate within your facility, shift it to another site, or hand it back. When you're finished.

04

No Trades, Easy Installation

Portable tripod stands. Standard GPO power. Minimal building modifications, no electricians or riggers required.

05

Telstra, Optus & Vodafone

Cel-Fi G41 supports all three Australian carriers. Run a single carrier kit, or a multi-carrier configuration for mixed device fleets.

Core Equipment

Cel-Fi GO G41 Repeater

The brain of the system. A commercial-grade Nextivity Cel-Fi G41 mobile repeater that captures the donor signal, amplifies it, and redistributes it through the in building antennas. Powered from a standard GPO. Supports Telstra, Optus or Vodafone depending on configuration.

  • Powered via standard 240V GPO
  • Single carrier per unit (run multiples for multi-carrier coverage)
  • Up to 100 dB gain across supported bands
  • Genuine Nextivity hardware, full manufacturer warranty
Outdoor Coverage Capture

External Donor Antennas (Outdoor)

Our specialised panel antennas are mounted on a 3 metre portable tripod outside the building. It captures the available signal from the nearest carrier tower and feeds it into the Cel-Fi unit.

  • Specially engineered antennas
  • Covers all current Australian carrier bands
  • 3 metre portable tripod, no roof access needed
  • Directional. Aimed at the best donor tower on site
Indoor Coverage Distribution

Server Antennas (Indoor)

Up to two indoor server antennas on tripods, positioned to push coverage across the warehouse floor. Same specialised panel hardware as the donor, just aimed at the target zones.

  • Up to 2 in building antennas per standard kit
  • Coverage up to 100 metres within main radiation zone
  • Tilt and aim to suit the building layout
  • Additional antennas available for extended coverage
Cabling & RF Components

Temporary Cable Run

Low-loss engineered coaxial cabling between the donor antenna, the Cel-Fi unit and the server antennas. Plus the splitters and combiners needed for multi-antenna or multi-carrier configurations. Run along walls and floors, 'qwik' and easy.

  • Engineered cabling, allowing longer runs
  • Splitters, hybrid combiners and connectors as required
  • No fixed installation, fully temporary
  • All components designed to be removed cleanly

Multi-Kit Deployments Available

Larger facilities or multi-building sites can run multiple QWIK-CEL kits simultaneously. Kits can also be relocated between buildings as coverage priorities shift. Talk to us about scaling the configuration to your operation.

Coverage Capability

Sized to Match Your Facility

QWIK-CEL kits come in three coverage configurations. The right kit depends on your floor area, building shape and where coverage is actually needed. For unusual layouts or facilities with complex racking and obstructions, a quick site assessment will get it right the first time.

Kit Option 01

Small Area

300 m²

Up to 300 m² of coverage

Included:

  • 1 × Cel-Fi G41 repeater
  • 1 × specialised donor antenna on tripod
  • 1 × indoor server antenna on tripod
  • Cabling and connectors

Best for: Smaller warehouses, individual depots, workshop areas, or coverage targeted at a single zone such as an office mezzanine or shipping bay.

Kit Option 03

Extended Coverage

800 m²+

800 m² and above

Included:

  • Medium kit as the base
  • + 1 × additional indoor server antenna on tripod
  • Additional cabling and RF components
  • Further antennas available on request

Best for: Larger warehouses, multi-zone facilities, sites with long aisle runs or awkward layouts that need an extra antenna to fill in coverage gaps.

Coverage figures are based on available RF power from a strong donor signal and a typical warehouse building profile. Cold storage, dense racking, multi-storey layouts or facilities with very weak donor signal may need a different configuration. Honestly, we'd rather size it right the first time, so a site assessment is recommended before committing.

Warehouse Coverage Where It Mattered, Without the Capital Outlay

A large warehouse operator had been quoted around $15,000 for an off-air repeater system, and with no capital budget available the project had stalled before it started. QWIK-CEL got the coverage in across the main floor and upstairs office on a small monthly OPEX rental, with a trial period built in so the client could see the system working before committing.

4G Data Offload for a specialised Fleet Depot

A fleet operator's vehicles spent each day collecting time-sensitive field data, but their depot had no usable 4G signal for the evening upload. End-of-day data offloads kept stalling. QWIK-CEL was specified, scoped via a desktop survey, and deployed without any of the carrier coordination or site visits a traditional off-air repeater project would have required.

Where QWIK-CEL Makes the Most Sense

QWIK-CEL is built for situations where a coverage problem is real but a permanent install is the wrong commercial call. If your operation looks like any of these, it's worth a conversation.

New Warehouses & DCs

Buildings going up in developing industrial precincts where the carriers haven't yet built local tower capacity. Coverage now, permanent fix later if the situation calls for it.

3PL & Logistics Operators

Third-party logistics teams moving into new buildings where the external signal is thin and the lease term doesn't justify a permanent install. Coverage that moves with the contract.

Manufacturing & Cold Storage

Dense building materials, insulated panels and steel cladding that strip out external signal before it reaches the floor. QWIK-CEL pulls signal in from the strongest donor and redistributes it where it's actually needed.

Sites Awaiting Tower Upgrades

Businesses waiting on carrier roadmaps to build a tower in the area within 12 to 24 months. Bridge the gap with QWIK-CEL, hand it back when the coverage improves.

Short to Medium Term Sites

Project sites, temporary depots, event spaces, anywhere coverage is needed for months rather than years. Pay for what you need, return the kit when it's done.

Capex-Constrained Operations

Coverage is a real operational problem but CAPEX is limited. QWIK-CEL can be funded with OPEX with no long approval cycle needed.

Getting Started

From First Call to Live Coverage

QWIK-CEL is designed to be straightforward. No long procurement cycles, no extended design phases. Most deployments go from first contact to live coverage inside a week, depending on how quickly we can get approvals.

01

Get in Touch

Tell us about your site, the team size, what's not working and which carriers your devices need to run on. A quick call or form submission is enough to get started.

02

Site Assessment

We survey the site, check the available external signal, and confirm the right kit configuration. Most assessments take an hour or two and double as a coverage planning conversation.

03

Deploy & Commission

Equipment arrives, tripods go up, cables run, the Cel-Fi G41 gets commissioned and signal is tested across your coverage zones. One site visit, "Hours not days!"

04

Coverage Live

Your team is on calls, scanners stay connected, safety comms work. We tune the system on-site to your strongest donor and you start using it the same day.

~Normally $950 Included in hire costs

The assessment fee (included in all hire rates) covers site survey, antenna positioning, Cel-Fi configuration and signal tuning. Self-installation is possible but honestly, the difference between an optimally tuned system and a roughly aimed one is the whole point of using specially engineered hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About QWIK-CEL

Real questions we get from warehouse operators and facilities managers looking at QWIK-CEL. If yours isn't here, give us a call.

How quickly can QWIK-CEL be deployed at my site?

Most QWIK-CEL deployments are on air within hours of arriving on site. From first contact to live coverage on site is typically one to two weeks, depending on how quickly we can gain approval from the client.

Which mobile carriers does QWIK-CEL support?

QWIK-CEL is powered by the Nextivity Cel-Fi G41 platform, which supports Telstra, Optus and Vodafone networks. Each Cel-Fi unit handles one carrier at a time, so dual or three-carrier deployments use multiple G41 units configured together. We confirm the right configuration during the site assessment based on what your devices need.

How much coverage does one QWIK-CEL kit provide?

Smaller kits cover up to 300 m² with one server antenna. A standard kit covers up to 600 m² with a Cel-Fi G41 repeater and two specially engineered server antennas. For larger sites we add additional server antennas to extend coverage to 800 m² or more. For complex layouts, cold storage or multi-storey buildings, we can design to suit.

What's the difference between QWIK-CEL and a permanent Cel-Fi install?

QWIK-CEL uses the same Cel-Fi G41 hardware that goes into permanent enterprise installs. QWIK-CEL is opex-based on weekly rates starting from $51/week, equipment sits on portable tripods instead of being fixed to the building, no trades required, and the whole system can be relocated. QWIK-CEL uses specialised antennas & cabnles to achieve large coverage with limited infrustructure.

Do I need to commit to a long hire term?

No. QWIK-CEL is available on 3 month, 12 month, 24 month and 36 month hire terms. The longer the term, the lower the weekly rate. A 36 month commitment cuts the weekly rate by close to 90% compared to short-term hire. Most warehouse operators end up on 12 or 24 month terms, which is the typical commercial sweet spot between cost and flexibility. We also offer a 4 week 'try before you buy' on a 4 week trial.

What if my mobile coverage improves later?

That's exactly what QWIK-CEL is designed for. If a carrier builds a tower in your area, or your operational needs change, you hand the kit back at the end of the term or relocate it to a different building. There's no sunk CAPEX costs and no fixed install to remove.

Does QWIK-CEL need building modifications?

All equipment sits on portable 3 metre tripod stands. Cabling runs along walls and floors with no penetrations. The Cel-Fi G41 unit powers from a standard 240V GPO. No electricians or riggers required, which is one of the main reasons QWIK-CEL deploys in hours rather than weeks.

Is the site assessment really necessary?

Strongly recommended. The $950 site assessment and commissioning fee is included in the weekly hire pricing and covers checking the external donor signal, identifying the best antenna positions, tuning the Cel-Fi G41 to your strongest available carrier signal and verifying coverage across your target zones. Self-installation is possible but a roughly aimed high-gain antenna will give you a fraction of the performance it's capable of, which defeats the purpose of using the hardware in the first place.

Can QWIK-CEL handle larger or multi-building sites?

Yes. Multiple QWIK-CEL kits can run simultaneously across a larger facility or be deployed to different buildings on the same site. The kits can also be relocated between buildings as coverage priorities shift. For sites running more than 800 m² or with complex layouts, talk to us about the right solution.

What's included in the weekly hire rate?

All hardware: the Cel-Fi G41 repeater, specialised antennas, tripod stands, coaxial cabling, splitters and connectors. Manufacturer warranty is maintained throughout the hire term, and we cover hot-swap replacements if anything fails. The weekly rate includes a site visit and configuration (normally priced at $950) to correctly optimise the system to your needs. *NSW & QLD customers only all other states are subject to quote changes.*
